As a retired Wholistic Esthetician, I feel skin and body care for women to be ridiculously expensive, ridiculously complicated, ridiculously time consuming And ridiculously unhealthy. Most Catholic women don't have the time, energy or even money to waste, especially if it  keeps us from our faith and family.

in  Biblical times, Jewish women used what God gave them, oils, seeds, plants, etc for their skin. 

And my personal belief is that it is Biblical are to use what God has gifted us with. Nature has so much to offer us for inside and outside wellness, beauty and healing.

I've also included Easy Healthy Recipes for Fish Fridays (or meatless Fridays), and fasting days. In our house we do Fast on Friday and go meatless. We did this growing up as Catholic kids, and anytime we are led to or required by our Catholic Faith.
